Where the men and bourbon are a different calibre.
I really enjoyed Laney and Grant’s story. It’s angsty, suspenseful and filled with banter, it kept me highly engaged with their journey.
I really enjoyed reading about these two characters and how they become stronger because of each other. How they really find themselves because they are challenging each other while also showing one another vulnerability.
Both characters have been through a lot in their lives. They have both experienced traumatic events and had devastating losses. Yet, they are still fighting to live and love as hard as they can. Healing takes time and these two, healed each other.
I loved how this all came full circle and how everything was linked. I really liked how it all wrapped up and all questions were answered.
Also, Julep is the best dog and definitely a main character! I’m here for her sassy bark and attention stealing ways while also being a total bad ass and saving the day!
I can’t wait for Lincoln’s but I will say I’m more excited for Ace’s.
